Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to in the upcoming August/September issue of Convivium:

  • Did you miss our May 9th event in Calgary with Lord Conrad Black and Fr. Raymond J. de Souza? Not to worry, you can read their witty and insightful exchange for yourself in this issue’s “The Conversation”. All you’re missing are the wing-backed chairs. Or not.
  • Canada’s former Ambassador to the Holy See, Anne Leahy returns to Convivium’s pages this issue. An impressive woman with an equally impressive career, you can look forward to Leahy weighing in on religion and Canadian foreign policy. In May, Convivium Publisher Peter Stockland participated alongside Leahy in the Bridging the Secular Divide conference. You can read Peter’s reflections here.
  • You won’t want to miss a book excerpt on the fascinating life and career of Pope Pius XII. We’ll be giving you a sneak peek of Dr. Robert Ventresca’s book Soldier of Christ: the Life of Pope Pius XII published earlier this year. Stay tuned for a conversation between Dr. Ventresca and Fr. Raymond J. de Souza taking place this fall in London, ON.
