On the second and third days of Creation, God made the sky, the sea, and the land. These three elements of earth exist in some form everywhere. Here, Vancouver-based photographer, Thomas Sanz finds a peaceful moment, a sacred space, where the sky and the sea are seemingly one. The land offers us the perspective of the expanse that exists between the ‘waters’ above and the waters below.
“6 And God said, ‘Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.’ 7 And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.” Genesis 1:6-7 (ESV)
